Selling Your Home

When selling your home, you need to be aware of its marketability and what you can do to make it better.

Here are the type of things that will influence a buyers decision on whether to purchase your home or another one.

CURB APPEAL

What's the first thing the buyer sees when he/she looks at your home? Take a look at your home's exterior and interior with an objective eye. You want to make sure you give them a good impression.
Exterior:

The front of the home should be free of rubbish, junked cars, etc. Keep the yard tidy, mow the lawn, and make sure your home looks its best while on the market. Replace any broken windows or shutters, repair torn screens and take care of any other maintenance that needs attention. Adding some colorful plants and flowers can help too.

Interior:

Buyers are turned off by cluttered rooms, dirty kitchens and bathrooms, stained carpets and unpleasant odors. Things like leaky faucets, cracked tiles, and other small repairs may cause your home to sit on the market longer than it would otherwise.

Remember, these are the types of things that will influence a buyers decision on whether to purchase your home or another one.

PRICING

If your listing price is too high, it only helps sell your competition's home, and if you list too low, you're missing out on $$$ that should be going into your pocket. That's where a Comparable Market Analysis (CMA) comes in.

The market value is set by the market and a CMA will determine the competively priced fair market value for your property. So when you decide to sell your home, please contact me for your FREE CMA and let's get started!

As an experienced professional, I know how to handle every aspect of the sales process - from strategically marketing and showcasing your home to making sure everything's signed, sealed and delivered by the closing date.
